‍The Adaptiv Home Renovation Course includes an overview of the Adaptiv Home market, including specific design approaches and business opportunities. Participants will learn about ramps and slopes, zero-step thresholds, curbless showers, accessibility equipment, home automation solutions and much more.

Upon completion of this course, participants will have a better understanding of the needs of consumers, will know which products to specify, and will be better prepared to market their services. CHBA members who have successfully completed the course will be listed in the Qualified Adaptiv Home Specialist directory.

The Adaptiv Home course focuses on providing the knowledge and tools for professional renovators as well as other professionals to better support Canadians who wish to live at home for as long as they can. The emphasis of this course is on improving design with safety, security, easy of use, comfort, accessibility, and occupant health.

This instructor led course will be held virtually using Zoom.  Links will be provided to participants in CHBA's learning management portal, access details are emailed post registration.
