The City of Kawartha Lakes is hiring a Building Inspector. Building Inspectors are licensed through the Ontario Building Officials Association (https://www.oboa.on.ca/) to work under Provincial framework as set out by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing
Building Inspectors are responsible for reviewing projects, reviewing and processing applications for building permits, and enforcing the Building Code Act.

Hours Normal Working Hours are 40 hours per week, possible Saturdays
Other General office environment. Some travel throughout the City of Kawartha Lakes may be necessary in accordance with job requirements
