The 2023 OHBA Conference was held at the Blue Mountain Resort and featured a full day of education followed by the annual Awards of Distinction. PKHBA Member Dietrich Homes won Builder of the Year, small Volume & best Amenity Space at the provincial awards.
The 2023 OHBA Conference was held at the Blue Mountain Resort September 17-19 2023. The conference featured a full day of education, the inauguration of OHBA's 54th President Dave Depencier, followed by the annual Awards of Distinction. PKHBA Member Dietrich Homes won Builder of the Year, small Volume & best Amenity Space at the provincial awards.
PKHBA President Mitch Cleary attended the conference and said it was "A great event, some solid technical education and forward looking industry advice."
Looking ahead in the building industry homes are the more energy efficient and secure than ever before. Education for builders is available to continue to build the best homes for our communities. Schools and young people are getting back into skilled trades. The opportunities to learn a skilled trade are growing with strong partnerships between high schools and industry to ensure our youth are learning more in school before beginning a career.
